Ceremony
Our ceremony is on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee, Kansas, at 2:00 p.m. St. Joseph is the church that Lindsay's family has been attending since she was a child.
Father Mike Hawken will preside over the ceremony, as he did for the marriage of Rusty and Renee Dowell, Lindsay's brother and sister-in-law.
St. Joseph is located at 11311 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS 66203.
Reception
A cocktail reception following the ceremony will be held at 6:00 p.m. at the Berg Event Space. The Berg is an "Urban Loft Experience" located in Kansas City's Crossroads Arts district within a half block of the Sprint Arena.
An after-dinner celebration, hors d'oeuvres will be provided by Kansas City Catering. Additionally, the Berg will serve beer, wine, and cocktails, and the mother of the bride, Jan Dowell, will create our wedding cheesecakes.
The Berg is located at 1525 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64108. Directions from St. Joseph's to the reception venue will also be provided at the ceremony.
